A humorous cooking simulator developed by a Polish studio called Wastelands Interactive. In Cooking Simulator, a player assumes the role of a chef working at a restaurant, who has to carry out all the duties resulting from his job. Their responsibilities include preparation of various meals - one can stick to the recipes or experiment a bit. The latter option involves combining ingredients as one sees fit, choosing from vegetables, meat, and fish. The players are given numerous kitchen appliances such as cutlery, special knives, bowls, pots, frying pans, ovens, blenders, gas stoves, and many other thing. Cooking Simulator is based on an advanced graphics engine, allowing the player to slice the vegetables and blend them; however, one can also vent all his frustration and demolish the kitchen. The game delivers a career mode, in which the player systematically acquires new customers and gets access to more advanced recipes. The culmination of all the effort is the Michelin Star - one of the most prestigious honors a restaurant can receive.

Another entry in the series of economic strategy games in which the player assumes the role of an owner of a pizzeria. The first game in the series debuted in 1999 and its sequel was released one year later. In the third installment the player is tasked with transforming a small business into a giant network of restaurants scattered across the world. Like before, one of the greatest attractions of the game is a pizza creator that enables the player to create his own versions of the titular dish by using more than 75 ingredients. In addition to that, the player must take care of his business – manage the restaurants and employees, decorate the buildings and perform market analyses. From time to time he must also face his competition, not always according to the rules of fair play. The main mode of Pizza Connection 3 is a story campaign. It starts in Rome, but gradually the player conquers other markets as well. The title also offers a sandbox mode in which the player can freely expand his business. It is worth mentioning that it is the first three-dimensional entry in the series.

The action of Overcooked takes place in an alternative, comedic reality; specifically in the realm known as The Onion Kingdom, which is on the verge of doom in the face of an incoming ancient evil. Luckily, as it turns out, the vile threat can be simply eaten; to cook it, however, the best chefs are needed, so players assume their roles. During gameplay you face a series of difficult challenges requiring you to prepare a variety of dishes while sticking to the recipe and delivering the right ingredients to the correct spots. To make things more difficult, the pace is fast and the kitchen is filled with many moving elements and traps that you have to skilfully avoid. Apart from the single player mode, the title features multiplayer in which cooks can cooperate or compete with each other.
