Open the gate with the key that you have found.

After the conversation with Delilah, head North to CAVE 452. Inside, use the key to open the rusty gate. After you enter deeper, it will slam shut.

On the fork, go left where you can make a way for yourself between rocks, with the axe (interaction). Then, squeeze through the opening and follow the linear path.

Along your path to the exit, you can spot a shoe below.

In the spot, where there is light coming in from the left, look down and right - zoom in ([RMB]) to spot a shoe. Then, keep going ahead to reach the exit.

Ransack the hideout

From the spot where you resurface, head North. Along your path, you find a hideout with several notes in it, as well as several other items. But mainly, you find a BUNDLE OF PITONS (from the makeshift table, pick up the HANDMADE SIGN). With these on you, you can return to CAVE 452).

Note: If, instead of to the cave, you go North for a moment towards communications lines, your receiver should detect the signal. You can follow it to get to the spot shown above, where you find a dead elk. Report it and Henry will comment on this.

The rock that you can attach your gear to.

In the cave, use the key again to open the gate. Then, by the descend, where you have earlier gone left, you find a way down, and a CRACKED ROCK, into which you can jab the hooks. After that, Henry will automatically attach the rope to the hooks. Thanks to this, you can now climb down.

At the bottom of the cave, there is a corpse.

This path is a linear one, and to get to the very bottom you need to climb down twice. At the very bottom, you find a corpse - Henry will identify it after a while, after a remark to himself. Right afterwards, you can approach the corpse and walk by. Head on, along the path that leads you to the cave exit.

While on the surface, talk to Delilah about the corpse. After a while, the day will end.
