Day 77 | Walkthrough Firewatch Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
After a short conversation, examine the hanging chart listing plant species. Then, look at the second plant from the left, in the top row. After you determine your destination point, go to COTTONWOOD CREEK.
Note: You can ignore this instruction and immediately go to WAPITI STATION, where the rest of the mission is roughly the same. This has no effect on the events that take place afterwards and you only skip several dialogue lines.
Along your path, you pass by a large tree. A bit below, jump over the brook. The appropriate dialogue option becomes available after you approach cache no. 308 on the islet in the middle. Use the radio.
Behind the bushes, there is the abovementioned CACHE 308. Remember about the changed combination "5-6-7-8". from the inside, collect the new walkie-talkie and, after the conversation, go to WAPITI STATION.
After you reach the station area, approach the gate and pry it open with the axe. Then, walk into the station area. First, open the mailbox (LID) and collect the note. A bit ahead, you go past the communications tower.
Finally, you reach the camp. Optionally, report on the devices, net laid on the ground and the tent. Then, enter the tent. In the crate to the right of the entrance (HARD CASE), you find a device that starts emitting bleeping sounds after you collect it (WAVE RECEIVER).
The bleeping points to the item that you need to find - it is on the desk and is covered with paper slips (before that, you can report on other items around the desk), All in all, shove the papers away, examine the bleeping device and read and collect the reports.
Exit the tent and head towards the tower. During the conversation with Delilah, you can either agree to burn the place down or talk her out of it (in fact, the results of both are the same). After you jump over the bridge, it will collapse and, on the right, you will spot billows of smoke. Decide whether to ignore it or to report it. Also, you have an option not to start the conversation on the radio.
