Transfers | Playing as single players FIFA 15 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
FIFA 15 once again features so-called Global Transfer Network, which greatly expands possibilities when it comes to making transfers and searching for players suitable for your team. Now scouts are needed in order to make a transfer - they provide specific information about the player you want to buy, including all statistics and abilities. Scouts, whom you must hire first, can be sent to any region available in the game - you can specify their destination by choosing country of your interest, as well as the league you expect can provide players who could strengthen your team.
Of course, scouts can do nothing without specific directions that they follow in their search - you need to specify the player's position, his age, and the contract duration. You may also select up to six attributes specifying the character and style of the player you want to have in your club - there are several dozens of these, so you definitely have a freedom to choose. After some time you get a list of players who meet the criteria you set. Sadly, there is still some information missing. Statistics and other details on the players will be granted only after further observations and more insight analysis of their potential. Of course, there is still an option to search for players in the old-fashion way, as in the previous installments in the series, i.e. by selecting only basic criteria, such as role, position, league, and age of player. There is also an option of finding a player simply by inserting his name. This time, however, your options here are a bit limited, as you will not find an overall numerical factor describing players, which usually was a decisive factor when choosing a player.
The first official step on the way of acquiring a player is sending an enquiry. Soon, in your e-mail appears a message with financial expectation of the club - only then can you proceed by sending a transfer offer and respond to financial requirements. After final review of available possibilities, all that is left is to place an offer and wait for the club to accept it - the success depends only on your financial possibilities and determination. You should also remember that you can give one of your players as a part of the deal, lowering the cost of transaction and leaving you more for payouts. It is also a good idea to borrow a player with a predefined cost, so you could try out a given player, and then buy him for a set price.
