Upgrade Prosperity | Far Cry New Dawn Walkthrough Far Cry New Dawn Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 25 February 2019
This page describes the Upgrade Prosperity mission in Far Cry: New Dawn. To complete the mission it is necessary to acquire two specialists and improve three objects in the homebase. In order to complete the mission, you must complete tasks related to the acquisition of specialists, as well as acquire a lot of ethanol, required to improve the facilities in your base.
How to get Specialists and Companions?
Specialists are unique characters required to improve objects in the base. Specialists' locations have been available on the map since the beginning of the game. Acquiring a given specialist is connected with completion of a story mission related with him/her. Usually, it is enough to go to the place where the specialist is staying - that is, where his portrait and name are marked on the map. You will find a description of how to get all five specialists on the following pages of this guide:
- The Great Escape - Nick Rye specialist
- Adventures in Babysitting - Sharky Boshaw specialist
- Buzz Kill - Grace Armstrong specialist
- Deep Dive - Selene specialist
- Losing Streak - Bean specialist
In order to complete the Upgrade Prosperity mission, you need to acquire any of two specialists. Bean, Selene and Grace Armstrong reside closest to Prosperity, but there is nothing to prevent you from getting Nick Rye and Sharky Boshaw specialists.
How to get ethanol?
Ethanol is a special resource required to improve the facilities in the homebase. To complete the mission, three facilities need to be upgraded, which translates into several hundred ethanol units. Ethanol can be obtained in two ways:
- By taking over enemy posts.
- By taking over the ethanol tanks and delivering them to the seized stations/posts or Prosperity.
You can find the locations of various objects on the "Points of interest" map in our guide. You will find more information about taking over tankers with ethanol on the "Convoys with supplies" page. It's also worth checking the "Taking over stations and posts" page to find out what you have to do in order to take back the stations from opponents' hands.
