Into the Bliss | Far Cry New Dawn Walkthrough Far Cry New Dawn Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 08 March 2019
The following page describes the Into the Bliss story mission in Far Cry: New Dawn. You will receive this quest after completing the Eden's Fire task. Head to the New Eden location, watch a short cutscene and then move out towards the objective marker. Your task will be to find Joseph - to accomplish this, you will have to travel along a dangerous river.
Navigating the river
For most of the task, you will be controlling a boat. All you have to do is head towards the mission marker, but from time to time you will encounter areas where you will start taking damage. You will then have to use your bow to fire a burning arrow at a nearby woodpile. You have to repeat this action several times, but the mechanic itself is very simple - if you start losing health, stop the boat and shoot a burning arrow at a woodpile in the vicinity. Ammunition will be automatically replenished, so you do not have to worry about it. During the journey, you will also come across two closed gates.
How to unlock the first gate?
After reaching the first gate, leave the boat and head to the bridge. Ignite the nearby wood piles to avoid losing health and go towards the watermill. Next to it, you will find a lever - activate it to open the gate. Now you can go back to the boat and continue on the path towards the mission marker.
How to unlock the second gate?
Opening the second gate is similar to the process of opening the first one. In the beginning, go to the bridge and head towards the watermill. Remember to set the wood piles on fire, but be careful because you will be attacked by wolves. After killing them, you can approach the watermill. Activate the lever again, but apart from that, you will also have to destroy the beams that block access to the construction. The gate will open, and you can go back to the boat to continue your journey. Soon you will reach the end of the river, and the Into the Bliss mission will be completed.
