The following page describes the Joseph's Secret story mission in Far Cry: New Dawn. The mission begins in the location where you have completed the last quest, namely Into the Bliss. During this task, you will be fighting a boss (The Beast), and after successfully completing it you will unlock a new Gun for Hire named The Judge, as well as access to five new perks.
How to defeat the Beast?
After the initial cutscene, you will start the fight with The Beast. At your disposal, you will have a bow with an unlimited amount of arrows. The key to defeating the boss is continuous movement. You must constantly run around the location, and when you manage to gain some distance from the Beast, shoot at the red parts of its body. This way you will deal the most damage, but of course, hits to the other parts of the creature will also reduce its health. The beast sometimes stands on two legs, thus revealing its belly - try shooting at the boss as much as possible when you see such an opening.
As the health of the Beast decreases, there will be two cutscenes in which you will have to light two wood piles - they are placed in the corners of the location. Only then will you be able to return to inflicting damage to the Beast. Be vigilant, because until you light both of the wood stacks, you cannot hurt the boss, and it will constantly be chasing and attacking you.
After lowering the health of the boss to a very low value, you will receive superhuman strength, and the hero will automatically switch to melee combat. Attack the Beast with your fists - this is only a formality because after each hit the boss will be knocked back several meters. A few strikes will be enough to finally kill the Beast. After the foe dies, the mission titled Joseph's Secret will successfully end.
