The Great Escape | Far Cry New Dawn Walkthrough

This page contains our walkthrough for The Great Escape main mission in Far Cry: New Dawn. You will start it after you speak with a specialist called Nick Rye. His location is marked on the map. You need specialists to upgrade objects in your base, and to complete Upgrade Prosperity mission.

Meeting Nick Rye

Approach the location stealthy. You will encounter a few tough enemies - they wear damage-reducing armors, and use weapons that can deplete a lot of your health points. However, you can defeat them even if your character isn't developed yet. The best way to do that is to use a sniper rifle and shoot them in the head - this destroys their helmets, killing them instantly. Once they are all dead, speak with Nick Rye. Follow him to his vehicle.

Deliver Nick's vehicle

You reach Nick's vehicle - you will be the one piloting it. Follow the mission marker. Remember, you can't destroy the vehicle - avoid every obstacle. On your way, you will be attacked by a few enemies. Don't worry about them. Watch out for red barrels in the river - if you hit them, the vehicle will get destroyed instantly.

Reach the mission marker to complete The Great Escape mission.
