Enderal is a project so huge that it's hard to believe in its "faniness." On Reddit, some even looked for proof that it was in fact a commercial production of Bethesda, seeking to increase interest in Skyrim. Enderal took a long time to create and at the beginning there was little indication that fans would be able to complete their work at all. From the very beginning, they promised a rich lore and ambiguous independent heroes. Impossible? And yet.
The time we can spend in the world of Enderal varies, depending on the way the game is played, from 30 to an exorbitant 125 hours. So it's much more than your average modern commercial RPG! The plot suffices for a few evenings less, but there is also something to do beyond that on the island. Survival mechanics don't allow you to feel too confident, and the sleek crafting system is not inferior to Skyrim.
Although the developers didn't avoid a few minor mishaps (such as disappearing textures), in the end it is impossible not to appreciate Enderal for what it has evolved into. Especially when we play the latest, standalone version, Forgotten Stories, which adds even more side quests and improves the spell mechanics and leveling system.
