What exactly is Help Will Come Tomorrow?

A Polish gamed from Arclight Creations, published by Klabater. Help Will Come Tomorrow takes us to the Russian Empire, year 1917. A tarns-Siberian train is attacked by terrorists, and the survivors become stranded in the taiga, facing the harsh climate and waiting for help to arrive – and we take control of their endeavors.

What will gameplay be like in Help Will Come Tomorrow?

Like many other survival simulators, the gameplay focuses on meeting the needs of the survivors – getting provisions, providing warmth, expanding the camp, and keeping them safe. A significant element of the gameplay will be managing the relations among the set of diverse characters – getting them to cooperate is the only possible way of getting out of that thing alive.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

For a few reasons, the setting of Russia in 1917 seems perfect for a game about personal relationships. But then it's pretty easy to blow it, treat it without enough depth and consideration, falling into stereotypes. So, while I love the idea, I'm waiting for the first gameplay before paying for this game.

Martin Strzyzewski

I generally stay away from games labelled "survival." I'm not really into chopping wood, finding food and building houses. But if the game takes place deep within the Russian backcountry of the year 1917, and the backdrop for the story is the Bolshevik revolution and the class struggle in the empire... Well, it certainly has my attention. Help Will Come Tomorrow might be my number one game in April.

Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
