You don't need to be particularly interested in games to know about League of Legends. This game is just so popular. Apart from Defense of the Ancients (more commonly known as DotA), it's one of the precursors of the entire MOBA genre.
The same is true of Summoner's Rift – a map that's almost synonymous with LoL and thus, the entire genre. This is where most of the clashes take place. The reason is simple: like CS' Dust, this is one of the best-designed multiplayer maps.
