The Grand Theft Auto series is a never-ending collection of interesting places. Rockstar Games had already achieved mastery in creating compelling worlds by the time this installment was released. However, some places are more fun than others, and they're much more memorable. In GTA: San Andreas, Grove Street is one of them. This is where the whole story begins and ends, and many of the characters that we'll meet throughout the story are introduced here.
It's also the first time in the series when so many characters important for the story were coming from the same neighborhood. Our first hideout is located here, too. Again, this is a place dear to the protagonist's heart, not something rented like the room in the Ocean View hotel in Vice City.
This iconic location was even featured in the record-breaking, latest installment of the famous series. And although it's slightly modified here, it still brings back fond memories. Especially in combination with a great easter egg referring to the 2004 classic. We can meet three characters riding bicycles. This is a clear reference to CJ's first mission. In which mission in Grand Theft Auto V you can encounter the easter egg? The Hood Safari. You can also watch the clip below. That's what we love Rockstar for.
