1. Duke Lives | Campaign Duke Nukem Forever Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
You will begin the adventure with a lovely scene of urinating inside the toilet of a sports team. Take a look behind the toilets to unlock your first hardcore-only achievement. Approach the unflushed toilet and take out the "bronze figure". Yes, with bare hands, Duke is tough. Congratulations, you have unlocked Turd Burglar ;)
After going out of the toiler you will have a chance to unlock yet another achievement. In the middle of the room there are "debating" EDF forces and a whiteboard, on which you can write by interacting with it. Draw something and you will unlock Drawrings.
Now you just need to get out of the room and follow the EDF. Nothing can happen to you during this section. Head to the elevator to get your first weapon - the Devastator.
Pick it up and you will ride up the elevator to the football stadium, where a giant Cycloid awaits you. Fighting it isn't really difficult, as there's a lot of free space around which makes keeping the boss at distance easy. Additionally the Devastator is a very powerful weapon. However before you focus on the Cycloid, shoot down the blimp with a beet commercial over the stadium for Sunday, Black Sunday.
The Devastator eats ammo rather fast, but luckily the EDF will make sure you don't run out completely. An EDF airship will fly over the stadium from time to time, throwing supplies marked with a red flare. After you take care of the Cycloid, you will be moved to Duke's apartment.
Start off by heading to the toilet, which can be found right behind the door opposite to where you were sitting.
Approach the mirror and interact with it to receive an ego boost - which simply corresponds with more health. Enter the toilet in the neighbouring room and use the bowl for another Ego boost. Inside the same room you will find the first element needed for unlocking Call Waiting - the phone on the wall. Interact with it to listen to the message.
From the bathroom head to the living room where you will find a pool table. Pot all the balls into the pockets (of course apart from the white) to get another Ego boost. Playing pool might be tricky, as you're not using any cue stick and the "Hit Ball" hint doesn't always show. However if you're touching the table, just aim at the white ball and use the button responsible for interaction - even if the ball is on the opposite side.
That's pretty much everything you can do in this level, so follow the corridor behind the mahogany door into the elevator.
