Destruction Allstars: XP - how to earn? Destruction AllStars guide, tips
Last update: 15 March 2021
On this page of the Destruction AllStars game guide, you will learn how to earn experience points (XP) and how to level up. We will also explain what reaching a new experience level entails.
You can check your current level of experience (as well as the amount of regular coins and premium currency you have) in the upper right corner of the menu screen. You will start the game at level 1 and you will be able to advance to subsequent experience levels.
Experience points can only be earned in multiplayer mode, that is, by joining online matches with other players. You won't be able to earn them in any of the singleplayer modes, not even during Arcade mode or the Challenge Series (career mode).
The amount of experience points gained is always different. A number of factors can affect the final result:
- You will always receive a fixed amount of XP simply for participating in the match.
- You can get more XP if you reach the end of the match and this number increases if you or your team win the match.
- You can earn XP based on your Wreckognition, that is, for wrecking other cars. The more damage you do, the higher the score you receive in the match summary.
- You can earn experience points for unlocking various Badges.
These Badges are minor challenges that you can view in your player profile. They are awarded for various activities during the match. For example, the Chameleon Badge pictured above is unlocked by using all vehicle types during the course of a given match.
A great way to earn a lot of XP is by completing the so-called daily and weekly challenges. These objectives tend to vary. For example, you might be required to win a certain number of matches or use a particular star's Breaker a certain number of times. It may take you some time to complete the challenge, but the resulting one-time XP gain is nothing to scoff at (like the 50,000 XP pictured above).
Not all of the game's challenges will net you experience points. Sometimes, you might be rewarded with Allstar coins, instead.
Every time you advance to the next level of experience, you will get 1000 Allstar coins. As a reminder, these coins can be spent in the Customize tab in the game's main menu or to buy cosmetic items - new skins, emotes, shouts, banners, avatars and more. Unfortunately, these items do not have any impact on the gameplay and only affect the appearance of a given character or your player profile.
