On this page of the tutorial we clarify whether there are microtransactions in Destruction AllStars. You can also find out if any microtransactions affect the course of the game and if they're required to unlock the unique content of Destruction AllStars.

There are two currencies available in Destruction AllStars:

1. AllStar Coins - earn them by levelling up in multiplayer mode and completing certain challenges.
2. Premium currency - it is directly linked to microtransactions, because it's not possible to obtain through progress in the game. You can only purchase it with real money.

You can buy the premium currency from the game store, the console's main menu, or the PlayStation Store. There are 3 variants available:

1. 500 premium coins - 4,99€
2. 1000 premium coins - 9,99€
3. 2000 premium coins - 19,99€

The premium currency is unfortunately required to unlock some of the game's singleplayer content. We are talking specifically about the Challenge Series mode, the structure of which resembles the career mode known, for example, from Driveclub or OnRush.

The Challenge Series are divided into several chapters related thematically to different AllStars. The first chapter is "free", but you will have to pay in premium currency to access the next chapters.

Premium coins are also used to purchase cosmetic items. The cosmetic items are divided in the following way:

1. Items to be paid for exclusively with AllStar Coins.
2. Items that require both AllStar Coins and premium currency (both types of currency required).
3. Items for which you pay only in premium currency.

For premium currency you can buy e.g. character skins, emotes, shouts or new avatar designs. Cosmetic items do not affect the game in any way and will not increase your chances of winning a match.
