In this chapter of the guide to Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, we explain how to replace the shock absorbers in your car (shock absorber).
Last update: 05 September 2021
In this section of our Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 guide you'll find detailed instructions on replacing shock absorbers in cars. We'll advise you how to repair the absorbers and how to use the spring puller.
Some shock absorbers require a little more work than just replacing them.
They can't be found in stores, and in storage they're shown as three parts on a single picture.
You need to use a spring puller to replace them.
After clicking it, select the "Separate Parts" option.
Then select the set with a broken absorber.
After the puller finishes its work click again, choosing "take off parts".
Three elements which together create an absorber will appear in your inventory: the shock absorber cap, the spring, and the shock absorber itself. Separated, these elements can be repaired or bought.
Once you have a full set of working parts click the spring puller once again, this time selecting the "join parts" option.
Select functional absorber parts.
After the puller finishes its work, choose the "take off parts" option once again.
Now, the new, shiny absorber can be installed in the car.
