Use the world map to check Nodes

Nodes are trade agreements that can be used to earn more money and sell all sort of goods to merchants. There are two types of Nodes: primary and secondary Nodes. The former are crucial to activate the latter. Primary Nodes are presented in the picture and are represented by icons of cities/villages, gates and double arrows. Double arrows connect main cities with farms, gates, plantations etc. Without an active Node with a direction icon, it is impossible to activate secondary Nodes at plantations and villages.

Secondary Nodes connect a given region and plantations or forest surrounding them (such as Moretti Plantation). There are several places that offer attractive prices at Trade Managers and an opportunity to hire workers in a given location. The terrain defines what sort of location this is (they are appropriately marked on the map). In order to assign workers to a specific working place, head to their manager and hire them (scythe icon). All the collected items are automatically moved to a warehouse in the nearest city with a Node.

In order to purchase a Node, head to a character responsible for connecting cities and villages and activate Node Management. You pay in contribution points and each Node costs between 1 to 5 points. Active Nodes are marked yellow on your map, while inactive ones are white. If you receive notifications that you need to connect previous Nodes to activate other ones, open your map and check high road from the nearest city. You need to activate all the Nodes that start in the city and connect it with the location you are interested in.

Furthermore, you can devote energy to upgrade your Nodes. This process will increase the likelihood of gaining experience and items from killed monsters. To receive the boost, the Node must be active. Each region has different boosts and only one of them can be active. Each contribution point that you spend on Nodes can be recovered. Just use your map or talk with a character responsible for trade agreements. You can use the recovered points to activate new Nodes

Important information concerning Nodes:

  1. Nodes can only be purchased via contribution points.
  2. You can have unlimited number of nodes at once.
  3. Nodes need to be connected to one another, starting from the main city of a given location.
  4. Invested contribution points can be reclaimed at any moment.
  5. Investing energy provides you with additional boosts.
  6. Investing in the second type of nodes will allow you to assign workers to a plantation/forest/mine, situated to the purchased nodes.
