Growing plants in a garden requires several steps. First of all, you need to find a special merchant who can sell you a fence. Such merchants are marked as Material Merchants and can be found in any of the bigger cities. A fence can be acquired via contribution points or purchased by silver. Once you have the fence, head to location of your choice that is outside the city walls. Make sure to set up the fence in a place with no monsters or rocks that can prevent you from building. The fence will determine the shape of your garden. The garden will be divided into square blocks.

Select one of the blocks to sow. You will find the required seeds in all the larger cities at Seed Vendor. You can harvest plants after certain amount of time (depends on the quality of seed, irrigation and weather conditions). Just like in real life, you need to look after your plants. Still, you cannot control the temperature or humidity. If the temperature is too low, your plants won't grow fast enough, and if the humidity is too high, your garden will be attacked by varmints. Each of the factors, that influences your garden can be checked on a separate screen that you can access from the world map. Use it to monitor your crop. You can always place a scarecrow or water your plants.

Harvesting depends on gathering. The higher the level of gathering, the more you will be able to harvest. One should pay attention to when a given garden was established. Each garden can be used for a limited time to grow plants. If the blue icon representing the garden turns red, your garden will be destroyed. Gather all the plants and take down the fence before the indicator reaches 100%.
