AC Odyssey: How long does it take to complete the game? Assassin's Creed Odyssey Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 29 May 2020
This page of the Assassin's Creed: Odyssey guide offers an estimate of how long does it take to finish the game (depending on the chosen playstyle). You will find out how long it takes to complete the storyline only, the storyline and all of the side quests, or aforementioned and all trophies in order to gain the platinum trophy.
- Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a fairly long game. The world of the game is quite large. Exploring the entire map and unlocking all secrets can take extended amounts of time. The storyline itself, which is quite long, can take about 40 hours. Everything, however, depends on what difficulty level the player chooses. On lower difficulty level, the enemies are easily beat, moreover they don't have such level advantage over the player. Playing on a higher difficulty level may require spending additional hours in game.
- As can be expected from a fully-fledged open-world RPG, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey offers much more content than just the storyline. The storyline is complemented by side quests, which are in abundance here. Completing all side quests along with the main story line should take the players about 75-80 hours on a normal difficulty level. However, it all depends on whether we want to simply complete all quests, or explore the whole map, which will lengthen the playtime.
- Gaining all trophies in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey require additional time. Completing the game at 100% can take up to 125 hours, although the exact playtime may differ.
