Last update: 20 February 2019
Apex Legends contains 4 levels of armor that can be found around King's Canyon or in special supply capsules. The armor increases your survivability, therefore affecting the outcome of eventual battles. Aside from armor, Apex Legends contains helmets that protect you against headshots. Below you can find a list of all types of armor that can be found in Apex Legends.
Common armor and common helmet
Common armor is the first level of armor found in Apex Legends, characteristic for its white color. Once you equip armor, your hero will be able to absorb additional 50 damage before losing his health points. Common helmet is also white and reduces headshot damage by 30%.
Rare armor
Rare armor is the second level of armor, characteristic for its blue color. Rare armor absorbs 75 damage - 25 more than common armor, but it is much more difficult to find. A rare helmet is also blue and reduces headshot damage by 40%.
Epic armor
Epic armor is the third level of armor, characteristic for its purple color. Epic armor can absorb up to 100 additional damage - while equipped, you can survive up to 200 damage before you get knocked down. Epic helmet is of violet color and reduces headshot damage by 50%.
Legendary armor
Aside from the aforementioned armor levels, Apex Legends contains an additional armor level - Legendary. Legendary armor has a gold color, absorbs 100 damage (same as epic armor), 50% of headshot damage (in case of helmets) and offer additional bonuses.
- Legendary helmet - Reduces the cooldown periods of tactical and special ability, and offers maximum protection (50%) against headshots.
- Legendary armor - Absorbs 100 damage and charges your shield to its maximum value after using a finisher.
