Last update: 18 December 2023
Check out our Rogue Trader guide, where we explain how to find the code for the container at the Footfall docks. We show how to read the received clues properly and how to learn the individual digits of the combination.
Code to the container in Footfall
In Footfall, the first location of Chapter 2 of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, there are city docks that you can explore. There are some items and notes to pick up here. However, one of the chests that you can notice is separated by a large container that blocks access to it.
Here is where our video guide comes in - watch it for the exact location of the container and the locations where you can find the clues as to the access code.
As you look closely at the container, you'll notice 5 buttons on one of its walls. Button #2 is broken, so to get access to the chest, you'll need to guess the remaining 4 digits. The code for the container is 3541.
Inside the chest, aside from valuable loot, there are some interesting items:
- Two ranged weapons
- Interrogation Googles (5+ to Lore Xenos, 10% hit chance against xenos)
- Multikey
- Psyker's Footwear (3% dodge received from each use of psi powers, lasts to the end of the current fight)
Clues to the code
Clues that help reveal the individual digits of the code can be found written on a mysterious note that can be found on a body hidden underneath a platform in the northern part of the docks.
The note provides the following instructions:
- The holy book by the altar.
- The void-damn custom guy.
- Guess-What.
- Hangar by the window.
- The first clue concerns the book at the altar. After interacting with it, you'll learn that this is tome 3, which is your number.
- The second clue points you to the custom guy. You will receive the number 5 from him.
- The third clue tells us that we have to guess the number ourselves. Since the buttons with numbers can only be pressed once, the only possible left-over digit is 4.
- The fourth clue refers to hangar next to the window, where you will read number 1.
