Is there a secret ending in Rogue Trader?

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader has multiple endings. Your decisions during major choices can affect how the plot develops and the fate of your heroes, allies, and the whole universe.

First of all, your character can follow a specific morality path:

1. Dogmatic - unwaveringly devoted, cruel and harsh.
2. Iconoclast - empathetic and kind.
3. Heretical - following the ways of Chaos.

Once chosen, the given path should be followed and the player will gain next levels of them. Following the once assumed path will make completing skill checks during conversations easier.

The How Did It All End trophy has a very cryptic description:

1. You raised your own abomination.

This is the trophy that when achieved, unlocks the secret ending for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader. For the purpose of this trophy, even decisions made at the very beginning of the game are important.

How to unlock the How Did It All End achievement?

Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader consists of a short prologue and 5 chapters. Below you'll find exactly what decisions count towards How Did It All End trophy, divided into chapters where the choice takes place.

Chapter 1:

1. Solve the Defective Servitors problem in High Factotum.
2. At the end of Chapter 1, you're going to need to decide what happens to Rykad Minoris planet and this way you choose your moral path/alignment. Once chosen, you should stay in character and follow this alignment to the very end of the game.
3. At the very end of Chapter 1, use Cogitator on your ship. This way you'll hack it and receive top-secret data.

Chapter 2:

1. Wait before you conclude main quests until you get dataslates from 3 planets. To do that, use Cogitator on your ship. You should receive x2 Data.
2. Before meeting the Boss in Kiava Gamma, you'll see a transport ship. Remove the brake, enter the nearby room and use the Cogitator. By installing the gear, you'll receive access to a secret room. Reach the Cogitator in it and download the databank.
3. In the Dargonus location, in your private quarters, interact with the book to reveal a hidden safe. Solve the puzzle to get the data.
4. After completing 3 main quests from this chapter, you'll receive information regarding a coronation ceremony. Agree to use Cogitator.
5. When you meet Nomos, do not kill him. Make sure to always be nice to him - this hero is important for the secret ending.
6. Complete the task by questioning everyone on the ship's bridge.
7. After the coronation, talk to Nomos and use all dialogue options.

Chapter 4:

1. Nomos will reappear in chapter 4. Visit him often and use all dialogue options at each meeting.
2. When a Techpriest appears on your ship, do not get rid of him. Allow Nomos to cooperate with Techpriest.
3. Before the conclusion of Chapter 4, Nomos should have a quest for you.
4. Once you learn about Nomos' birthplace, The Possessed Ship trophy should be unlocked.

Chapter 5:

1. Unlock Epitaph, Necron Tomb World location. After arriving to the planet, let Nomos take over Techpriest's body.
2. When Nomos joins your party, don't let him die during the battle against C'ton. After winning the fight, let Nomos merge with C'ton.
