Decision regarding Aloysius Dawson in Vampyr Vampyr Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 11 June 2018
On this page, you will find a description of a decision related to Aloysius Dawson - a dying man who is the pillar of the West End. During Chapter 5 and the "Fountain of Life" mission, you can choose what to do with this character. You can make one of three decisions:
- Charm him - To use this option, you must first discover the hints about the man. This choice can be seen as good - the man will give up his fear of death. The next night, you'll find out that Aloysius has died - but he will leave some of his assets and accessories to medical patients. This will heal all sick inhabitants of the districts (they may become ill the next night). In addition, you will be excluded from the Ascalon club - in the city you will be able to meet some members and you will have a chance for an optional fight with Ekons.
- Turn him into a vampire - for 2,000 XP, you can transform him into a vampire. It is a morally doubtful choice, because Aloysius is a bitter man who wants to separate the rich from the poor. Aloysius will survive and the health of the district will not deteriorate. Lord Redgrave will be exalted and you will remain a member of Ascalon.
- Suck blood - You'll kill the man right away. Jonathan sucks blood which kills Aloysius immediately. It will infuriate Lord Redgrave, who expels you from the Ascalon club.
