4 - The Western Ghats - Map | Walkthrough Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Guide
Last update: 22 August 2017
The above map shows the Western Ghats - a location you will explore in chapter four of Uncharted: Lost Legacy. This place is significantly different from the other locations. It's way bigger and the player is able to take up both main and side quests - in any order they see fit. Below, you may find a set of main and side quests that can be completed here. You will find a more exact breakdown of these quests further on.
Mandatory activities
Your first task is to reach the three forts. You can do that in any order:
- The Parashurama fort (marked with a bow and arrow) - point 3 on our map;
- Fort Shivy (axe) - point 4 on our map;
- Fort Ganesh (trident) - point 5 on our map.
In each fort, you will pretty much do the same thing. Begin by finding the path into the fort. When exploring the forts, you will need to solve riddles and eliminate enemies, who are in the fort. Each visit in the fort ends with a riddle involving some circular mechanisms on a hill - an example of such device can be seen above.
After exploring all the forts and solving all their riddles, you will be able to go to the huge Halebid gate, located in the north-west part of the Ghats. It's point 7 on our map (shown above). Opening this gate is a way to get into chapter 5.
Side quests in this stage
Among the side quests is exploring the tower located in the central part of the map and it's marked on the Chloe's map from the very beginning of the chapter. The tower can be seen above. We've marked it as point 2 on our map. Climbing the tower has no other purpose than spotting the most important locations in the area. You may skip that if you intend to follow this guide.
A much more interesting activity is visiting the ruins in the norther part of the map, marked as point 6. You will find there a map of tokens (see above), and you will be able to go searching for them (finding the map isn't necessary to find the tokens). Finding all eleven tokens and bringing them back to the ruins will yield an even more precious artifact - the Queen's Ruby.
In West Ghats, there's plenty of secrets. 19 treasures, 9 picture spots, 4 optional dialogues and 11 lockboxes. All of these were described in the chapter of this guide devoted to collectables. Some of them are available in places that are always accessible, others can be found when exploring the forts.
