4 - Exploring the Parashurama Fort (bow and arrow)| Walkthrough Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Guide
Last update: 22 August 2017
This page contains a guide to exploring the Parashurama fort in Uncharted: Lost Legacy. This fort is explored in the Western Ghans chapter. Reaching it is mandatory to unlock the gate to Halebid (you also have to explore the two remaining forts, described in separate chapters of this guide).
The Parashurama fort is located in the south-west corner of the map. The exact location of this fort can be learned by climbing the big tower in the center of the map, or by taking a look at a map we prepared for this guide (the first page of the current chapter). The destination is shown above - you can easily reach that place by car.
After approaching the entrance to the fort, first zoom in on the image of a bow and arrow. This will unlock the optional dialogue with Nadine. When you unlock this secret go back to the car. Use the winch to pull the door open again.
Now you're up for a travel and a climb on narrow, stone ledges. Be careful in the spot where enemies appear above Chloe and Nadine. You can either shoot them while you're hanging, or quickly get higher to take care of them in melee combat. Consider pushing them off the edges.
After you're done, resume the journey. At some point, you will have to use a rope with a hook and one hitch.
You have to get to the upper ruins. There, you will encounter a substantial group of enemies. Again, you can either do things quietly, using clandestine methods, or just rush in for a heavy gunfight. If you opt for the latter, make sure you have taken a better weapon from one of the previous enemies.
If you're into sneaking, use high vegetation and hitches to move around faster. If you've chosen open exchange of fire, be careful and mind the snipers.
After securing the ruins, try to locate the mechanism shown above - it's at the top of one of the tall, stone buildings. Interacting with it will open the nearby gate, allowing you to enter the location with the main puzzle of this fort.
Go there, and after arriving at the precipice, use the hitch on the right to make things a bit easier. Grab one of the ledges and start making your way sideways and try to reach the rocks nearby. It shouldn't be a problem.
The idea is that you need to reach the stairs leading to the most important hill, adjacent to the cliff. There's a puzzle to be solved here, using circular stone dials. The solution is shown above. Start turning the biggest, outer circle (it will turn the remaining two as well). After you find a match, start with the middle one. When you figure it out, take the smallest one. Try pushing the whole mechanism when the plate with the bow will turn.
A cut-scene will commence, telling you that one of the waterfalls has been activated near the gate to Halebid (there are three in total, and they all have to be activated). Lastly, use the rope and the hook to get outside. Now either proceed to the remaining forts, or to the gate of Halebid.
