The Woodlands | Episode 1: Faith The Wolf Among Us Guide

Chapter 2 starts with walking down the street toward a Gate leading to Bigby's apartment. Optionally, you may look at the Plaque.
After you walk through the gate you may look around and see a Sign laying on the ground. To enter the building use the Door. Before entering you will see a woman hiding in the bush.
The mysterious woman hiding in the bush turns out to be Beauty. When you ask her through about the reason was she hiding from you, she will ask you not to tell anyone about that.

When you enter the building, look around. You can look at the Desk and try to wake up the guard, to no effect though. The Suit of Armor can be looked at and touched. You can look at and open your Mailbox. You can look at Woodland Directory, and pick up a door plaque with your name on it and add it to your inventory.
To proceed, use the Elevator Button. Before you get into your apartment, you will be interrupted by someone who turns out to be Beast. Apparently anxious he asks whether you have seen his wife (Beauty).
An important decision:

Optionally, if you chose answer number 1 I did:

Regardless of the option you choose, you go to your apartment, while Beast runs off to look for Beauty.
When you get inside the apartment you can take a minute to look around. To push the story forward, go to the salon and talk with Colin, who is laying in an armchair. After the initial chit-chat, seemingly troubled Colin asks you not to send him back on the farm.

Remember:
The answer number 3 is directly related to your dialogue choices from the previous conversation with Mr. Toad. If you told Toad you will send him on the farm, Colin will be miffed, but if you chose otherwise, Colin will be more friendly.
When the conversation with Colin is finished, you go to sleep. No matter whether you chose to give him your drink or not.

Your sleep is disturbed by Snow, who needs your immediate assistance. While walking toward the building exit you can ask Snow why does she need your help, but she will be interrupted by a stranger.
When you get to your destination, you will see a Jacket laying on the stairs, hiding a cut-off head of the prostitute from the first chapter. After a brief conversation with Snow, proceed to careful examination of the Head, the Neck, and the Mouth. In the victim's mouth you will find her ribbon. It has a signet ring attached to it with a strange sign.
After you finish examining the head, you will have to decide whether you want to further search the area or get back to the building, thus finishing the investigation.
Investigate more
Choosing Investigate more option will let you search the area for some important evidence. On the right there is a Blood trail, which you can examine. Further on the right there lays a Scrap of Fabric, which be picked up. Walking down the same direction you will find a Fence Post with more blood marks on it. After thorough investigation you can go back to Snow and compare the torn piece of jeans with her skirt (only if you have picked up the Scrap of Fabric). When you start conversation with Snow, she will ask why someone would murder the victim.

Remember:
1b answers will only be available if you have found cues such as the Blood Trail and the Fence Post.
Regardless of your dialogue choices, Snow asks whether Deputy Mayor should be informed of the matter. You could also get to this point earlier by choosing Leave instead of Investigate.

Leave
If you choose Leave, you will skip the investigation part and proceed to the conversation with Snow. In that case, the only right response is "This is a message" and then "The Woodsman's threat" to get Snow's support for your theory. Just like when you chose to Investigate, Snow asks whether she should tell Deputy Mayor about what happened.
