Are there any companions in The Outer Worlds?
As in many other games from Obsidian Entertainment, The Outer Worlds also gives you the opportunity to recruit party members. This page of the guide provides an overview of this aspect of the game.
During your adventure, you will be able to add new companions to your party. You can assemble a party that will accompany you during your adventures. Due to the fact that each character has their own unique skills, you need to carefully study their skills. If you do that, you will be able to choose a party that will best fit your way of playing.
When you explore The Outer Worlds with a team, you can control its party members to some extent. You can do this using a special console with four commands:
- Attack a specified target [1] - as the name suggests, this command will cause the team to focus its attack on a specific target;
- Special skills [2] - this command activates special abilities;
- Charge [3] - with this command you can order your team to move to the specified point.
Of course, playing with a team isn't mandator. You can travel alone.
