Here, you will learn how to use the map and find all the necessary pieces of information. This knowledge can be useful when setting up your base.

1. Unknown area
Sectors covered in a grid are areas that you have not discovered yet. You can analyze them with sensors or satellites.
2. Discovered area
Sectors not covered in a grid represent areas that you have already discovered. It's highly recommended not to build your colony on sectors that you have not analyzed - this can block resource extraction for some time.
3. Anomalies and resources icons
Resources icons have a blue background. Water drop icons represent water sources, red bars - metal, mountains - concrete, yellow bags - rare metals. All anomaly icons have a yellow background. You can read more about anomalies in a separate chapter.
4. Scanned sector
The game will notify you about analyzing a sector by covering the area with a small grid.
5. and 6. Unknown area details
Drag your cursor to a given area to find more details - available building space (percentage) and what's the probability of finding resources.
