Chapter 10 in Stray is called Midtown. This is one of the bigest chapters where you have to complete many different activities and visit various places. The walkthrough in our guide explains, among others, how to get to Clementine's apartment, obtain a jacket and hat for Blazer, how to avoid the Sentinels in the factory and the city, get the battery, where you can find 4 Clementine's clues in the apartment, how to get to the nightclub, and how to get access the VIP section at the club.

Explore the metro station and get to the main part of Midtown
Before you explore Midtown, you have to go through the metro station, where you will get to from the side of Antvillage from Chapter 9. On your way, you will go past a slot for a battery, but you will get it only later during an exploration of the factory.
At the station with the out-of-order subway car, listen to the commentary of B-12 (new memory). Use the broken escalator and go through the hole in the fence. Turn right two times, and you will reach the main part of the city.
Exploration of Midtown - general rules
Midtown , like the Slums, is a semi-open location. You can focus only on advancing in the story or spend time on additional exploration and optional activities related to secrets/collectibles (check out the Secrets and collectibles page) and individual achievements (see our Trophy Guide).
Not all Midtown locations are available from the beginning. You will unlock some of them (for example, the factory and nightclub) later in this chapter. The last chance to explore Midtown freely is before using the entrance to the nightclub at the back of the building.
Finding Clementine's apartment
Keep walking along the main street of Midtown. After reaching the large hologram with a round base, turn right - you will find the apartment building shown in the picture above.
Use any stairs to reach the consecutive floors of the block. You have to get to the top floor and jump through the hole to Clementine's apartment - it is shown in the picture above.
You will meet Clementine there. During the conversation, you need to select Clementine's Picture you received from Zbaltazar in Chapter 9 from the inventory.
Go to the room with the board and listen to another conversation about getting the battery. You will receive a task to find a robot that helps Clementine and a Contact Message.
Finding Clementine's contact
The collaborator of Clementine you are looking for is Blazer. You will find him in the alley to the left of the clothing retailer - the machine you are looking for is shown in the picture. You have to talk to Blazer and show him the note from Clementine (select it from the inventory), and you will learn about the task of obtaining a disguise for Blazer.
Getting disguise for Blazer
The plan to get the disguise for Blazer consists of 2 parts - you have to find a jacket and a hat to make the robot look like factory workers.
Talk to the robots on the ground floor of the apartment complex. You will learn that you can obtain a cassette tape from Simon.
You have to destroy 3 security cameras in the apartment building. They are located in clearly visible places on the higher level. In all of the cases, you have to jump on the camera to make it partially detach from the wall. Once you jump off the camera, it will be disconnected.
Sabotage the 3 cameras and return to Simon. You will receive a cassette tape.
Take the cassette to the clothing retail in the central part of Midtown. Investigate the changing rooms in the back of the store. There you will find a stereo system where you can insert the cassette tape after selecting it from the inventory.
The stereo will start playing loud music and distract the store employee. Go back to the main display area of the store and steal the jacket from the display.
Now locate the bar - near the entrance there is a big hologram. Head to the back of the bar, and you will find a sleeping robot you need to wake up.
Jump onto the highest ledge above the sleeping robot. Drop the crate with bottles on him - you have to press the interaction button twice. This will wake up the machine and it will go back to work.
Head to the hat store. It is unavailable, but you can use a trick to get inside. Jump into the box and wait for the awakened employee to carry it inside the store.
Jump out of the box and steal the Worker Hat from the exhibition . You can get out of the store by opening a small grate near the ground.
With the hat and jacket, you can return to the Blazer. Give him these items by selecting them from the inventory. Jump into the box - Blazer will take you to the factory.
Sneaking around in the factory
In the factory, you have to avoid the Sentinels - the flying drones.
They will start tracking and shooting at the cat if they detect you. You may try to avoid the fire by running slalom, but there is still a high risk of death.
Each Sentinel has a field of vision, and you can use it to avoid becoming a target. Start running when the drone turns or flies in the opposite direction.
Avoid the Sentinels and reach the lever that will unlock the side passage. You need to avoid the same Sentinel again before reaching the newly unlocked part of the factory.
In the next areas, you have to avoid being detected by hiding behind moving obstacles. Try to be precise because the area in which you stay hidden is relatively small, and the cover will be moving. Don't rush. If you are detected, try to lose the Sentinel by running (you can hide in a box or behind some cover and wait for the machine to return to its normal state).
Stealing the battery from the factory
You will reach the laser barrier.
It's easy to bypass the lasers - enter the barrel and roll to the side. The barrel won't be stopped when passing the lasers and you won't trigger an alarm.
The battery is stored in the central part of the room and you can't grab it straight away. First, you'll have to activate 3 pressure plates simultaneously. The buttons can be found around the capsule.
Nearby, you can activate a crate-shaped robot. It will automatically start following the cat.
With the robot, you have to reach the fenced-off side storeroom. Make the machine stop (meaning temporarily turn it off), jump on it and jump over the fence.
In the storage room, pull the lever and activate the second crate-robot. Get it out of the storeroom.
Now you have to place the 2 robots on the outer buttons, as pictured in the attached screenshot.
There is one final button left, which also needs to be pressed "permanently". Enter the barrel again and roll it onto the remaining pressure plate.
This way, you'll be able to approach the central structure and collect the Battery. Since all 3 buttons are pressed, it will no longer be locked in the capsule. This completes the puzzle.
Use the factory exit and jump into the bucket to go down. You will return to the main part of Midtown.
Returning to Clementine's apartment
You have to go towards the apartment buildings once again. This area will now be fenced off and is guarded by new Sentinels. Use the nearby walls to hide there and wait for a good moment to use the stairs.
On the consecutive floors, move when the Sentinel is facing the other way. You will have to go through the dark corridor shown in the picture and sneak past the drone.
On the top floor, take the shortcut, i.e. go over the ad between the balconies. You can get to Clementine's apartment by jumping through a small hole again.
Searching Clementine's apartment and finding 4 clues
You won't meet Clementine in her flat this time. By viewing the Clue Board, you will obtain a Mysterious Message with hints at her current location.
The message contains pictures of 4 objects you need to find and examine, as well as the order in which the clues need to be discovered (from 1 to 4).
The first clue is a smoking box lying on a low table.
In order to examine the second clue, you have to reach the appartment's attic. Find the towel you can scratch shown in the picture above. Interacting with it for a few seconds will cause the drawer to be pulled out. This lets you jump on it and reach higher.
In the attic, find the crystals.
The next clue is a traffic cone located in the bathroom, on a mannequin.
The last clue is a lit lamp placed on a tall shelf in the kitchen - you'll need to jump twice to reach it.
By successfully finding the 4 clues, you'll discover the following message - I'm with Blazer, come to Nightclub.
Getting inside the nightclub
The first task is to get out of the apartment building safely.
In the meantime, enemy drones are still searching the area, and you need to avoid them again. To get out, take the steps you did to get there in the reverse order, but you can also look for easy jumps down. After leaving the restricted area, you can stop sneaking.
The main entrance to the nightclub is shown in the picture above - the bouncer will not let anyone in. You have to go to the back of the building, and you can use the nearby alleys that lead there.
After you get to the back, start climbing the taller buildings and rooftops. Your objective is to reach the shutter from the picture above. A robot named Alex is looking out the shutter. He will let you inside after you talk to him.
Finding Clementine and Blazer in the nightclub
In the club, you have to find a way to get to the VIP section on the second floor. Start by examining the bar counter and pick up the Strange Drink shown in the picture above.
Having a drink in your inventory, talk to the robot named Fripp. Select the drink from the inventory and give it to him. In return, you will receive a Lever Handle.
You can place the new item in the lever mechanism behind DJs. Pull the lever and jump onto the lowered ledge. A DJ will come and will also use a lever. As a result, you should get to the top.
You will get to a console with 3 buttons. Keep pressing them to make all platforms go down.
You can now jump on the platforms and make your way to the distant balcony of the VIP section. Use the stairs to reach the place where Clementine is. Watch the cutscene and you will advance to Chapter 11.
