In State of Decay 2 the players can modify their vehicles to better adapt them to travels or fighting Zombies. It's worth remembering that a reinforced car won't lose health so quickly, so you'll be able to tackle more opponents and won't need to make repairs so often. However, you will need a Vehicle Upgrade Kit before you can modify your vehicle.

Where do I find Vehicle Upgrade Kits?

The Vehicle Upgrade Kit can be found with some dealers, but the best way to get it will be to build an Auto Shop. Remember, however, that you will need a survivor with Mechanics skill to operate the Auto Shop and create the Vehicle Upgrade Kit.

Vehicle customization

Before you can customize your vehicle, you will first need to park it in the parking space in your base. Then, use the appropriate Vehicle Upgrade Kit to modify the vehicle. Remember to choose additional modifications to your vehicle wisely because Vehicle Upgrade Kits are difficult to get or create. What's more, different vehicles will need the right Vehicle Upgrade Kit.

The best ride

Depending on your preferred style of play, you may have different expectations of your vehicle. If you want speed, you can try the Miragra NT, for example. If you want to have as much space as possible, the Van is the best choice. You can also make compromises and choose a car that has decent all-round stats when it comes to speed, load capacity and seating capacity - the Military Truck.
