Skills Shadow Warrior 2 Guide

This chapter provides description for all the skills in the game. You will find out how many points you require to unlock the higher tier of a given skill, when you receive that skill and how to use it. They have been divided into two categories. Remember that the choice of skills is up to you and it should be based on your style of playing the game.
Vitality

Life Mastery You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: It increases the maximum health level. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Health +10 Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Health +20 Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Health +30 Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Health +40 Tier 5: Requires 3 skill points Health +50 |
Call for Medic You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the chance of dropping the fist-aid kit by the enemies. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Chances to find a first-aid kit +10% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Chances to find a first-aid kit +20% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Chances to find a first-aid kit +40% |
Touch of Healer You can buy this skill from Larry on the Dragon Mountain. At the difficulty level "Who Wants Wang", it cost around 45 thousand. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the potency of first-aid kits. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Effectiveness of healing with first-aid kits +10% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Effectiveness of healing with first-aid kits +20% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Effectiveness of healing with first-aid kits +40% Tier 4: Requires 3 skill points Effectiveness of healing with first-aid kits +60% Tier 5: Requires 10 Skill points Effectiveness of healing with first-aid kits +100% |
Second Chance You will receive this skill after you have completed the side mission "Demonic Trafficking" This is a passive skill. Description: After a killing blow you have a few seconds to kill your enemy and regain your footing. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Duration - 5.0s Damage output upon activation +50% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Duration - 8.0s Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Damage output upon activation +100% Tier 4: Requires 10 skill points Damage output upon activation +500% Usefulness and how to use: This skill is automatically activated when your health drops to zero. Upon activation you have a short amount of time to eliminate the foe, that has vanquished you. If you accomplish that, you will return to 30% of your maximum health. The cooldown of this skill is 60.0s. |
One with Nature You will receive this skill for killing the "Old Fart" in the mission "Flirty Fishing - part 1" This is a passive skill. Description: You gain the ability to regenerate health. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Health regeneration limit +20% Health regeneration 0.5 Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Health regeneration limit +40% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Health regeneration 1.0 |
Skills
Healing Flame You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. It unlocks at level 1. This is an active skill. Description: The wave of chi heals every damaged cell in your body. Skill's base statistics: Heals - 25.0 health Casting time - 2.0s Cost - 35.0 chi Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Healing +10% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Healing +25% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Casting time of the spell -25% Usefulness and how to use: This skill regenerates your health for as long as you hold down the key. While using the skill, it is better to escape the battlefield in jumps, to prevent them from interrupting the healing process. This is a very good skill that you can use instead of first-aid kits to restore your health. |
Chi Mastery You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases maximum level of chi. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Chi level +10 Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Chi level +20 Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Chi level +30 Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Chi level +40 Tier 5: Requires 3 skill points Chi level +50 |
Serene Mind You receive this skill during the second main mission. It is in Wang's Cave, on the desk. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the rate of chi regeneration Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Slowly generates chi to the level of 50% Chi regeneration per second +0.5 Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Slowly generates chi to the level of 75% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Draining of chi +1.0% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Chi regeneration per second +1.0 Tier 5: Requires 10 Skill points Slowly generates chi to the level of 100% Chi regeneration per second +10.0 |
Vanish You receive this skill after you complete the second main mission "My Hero". This is an active skill. Description: The ancient ninja technique allows you to hide from sight of others. Skill's base statistics: Duration - 8s Damage dealt in melee +50% Casting time - 2s Chi cost - 50.0chi Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Cost to cast in Vanish -25% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Duration of Vanish +25% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Bonus to damage dealt in melee, while in Vanish +50% Usefulness and how to use: This is a very useful skill that allows you to hide and attack opponents by surprise. It makes an excellent combination with Grip of Darkness. After you cast Vanish, you get your enemies from behind and use Grip of Darkness. |
Chi-blast You receive this skill after you complete the third main mission "Hot Blooded". This is an active skill. Description: It turns chi into a powerful, destroying energy. It does not work on Tough and Elite opponents. Skill's base statistics: Affects opponents in front of you. Affects regular opponents Range - 7.0m Cost - 20.0 chi Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Range of the chi blast +25% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point The skill also works on big opponents now Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points The skill now affects everyone around you. Usefulness and how to use: It knocks back smaller opponents. It is useful, when you need to escape the battlefield to heal. |
Grip of Darkness You receive this skill after you have completed the third side mission "Chi-ters". This is an active skill. Description: It summons demonic spikes straight from the heart of the Land of Darkness. It does not affect Tough and Elite opponents. Skill's base statistics: It affects opponents right in front of you It affects regular opponents Duration - 3.0s Range - 6.0m Cost - 30.0 chi Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Grip of Darkness affects all of the opponents around you Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Duration of Grip of Darkness +40% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Grip of Darkness now affects big opponents Usefulness and how to use: Grip of Darkness penetrates your opponents and temporarily makes them unable to move. At the moment at which the opponents are pierced, they become an easy target. This works well with vanish. |
Arcane Mastery You will receive this skill after you have completed the side mission "The Cookery" This is a passive skill. Description: Chi-Blast and Grip of Darkness have a chance to work on Tough enemies. Requirements: Grip of Darkness Tier 4 Chi-Blast Tier 3 Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Chance to affect Tough enemies +10% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Chance to affect Tough enemies +25% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Chance to affect Tough enemies +50% |
Supplies
Ammo collector You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: It increases the amount of ammo that you find. Greedy Collector You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: It increases the range at which you automatically collect money and supplies from opponents. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Radius of automatic collection +1m Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Radius of automatic collection +2.5m Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Radius of automatic collection +5m |
Karma Collector You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the amount of harvested karma. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Harvested karma +5% Tier 2: Requires 2 skill points Harvested karma +10% Tier 3: Requires 3 skill points Harvested karma +15% |
Bullets pouch You receive this skill at the beginning of the game. This is a passive skill. Description: It increases the amount of pistol, submachine gun and assault rifle ammo you can carry. Projectiles pouch Skill that you can obtain after you kill The Sharpest Spike during mission "Hot Blooded" This is a passive skill. Description: It increases the number of projectiles for bows and nail guns that you can carry. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Projectiles limit +10% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Projectiles limit +20% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Projectiles limit +30% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Projectiles limit +50% |
Energy Pouch You will receive this skill after you have completed the mission "Ninja'd Scrolls - part 3" This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the amount of Energy and Plasma cells you can carry. Explosives Pouch You will receive this skill after killing the boss (Transistor ZL-260) during the main mission - "Industrial Espionage". This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the amount of grenades and rockets you can carry. Heavy Pouch You can purchase this skill from Larry after you have completed the main mission "Big Trouble in Calamity". It will cost you about 35k. This is a passive skill. Description: Increases the amount of shotgun shells and heavy ammo you can carry. Loyalty Card You will receive this skill after you have completed the mission "Flirty Fishing - part 2". This is a passive skill. Description: This skill affects the selling prices, quality and availability of items in shops. Combat
Sting You receive this skill after you kill six ratverines in main quest "All in a Day's Hard Work". It unlocks at level 1. This is an active skill. Description: A powerful thrust effective against a single opponent. Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Sting damage +10% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Sting range +50% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Sting damage +20% Tier 5: Requires 3 skill points Sting damage +30% Usefulness and how to use: This skill can be used when you have a melee weapon equipped. You have to hold down the RMB to activate it. Your character attacks then the opponent in front of you. This is a good skill to be used for finishing off of opponents. |
Vortex You receive this skill after you kill six ratverines in main mission "All in a Day's Hard Work". It unlocks at level 1. This is an active skill. Description: Deadly swirl ideal against several opponents surrounding you. Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Vortex range +20% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Vortex damage +20% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Vortex range +50% Tier 5: Requires 2 skill points Vortex damage +50% Usefulness and how to use: This skill can be used against several weaker opponents. You activate it moving to the left, or to the right, while holding down the LMB. |
Killer instinct You can obtain this skill in the side mission "Ninja'd Scrolls - part 2" after you kill the Guard.. This is a passive skill. Description: It increases your attack's damage dealt while you are at the verge of dying. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Health level required to activate the skill 20% Damage from the skill +20% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Health level required to activate the skill 30% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Damage from the skill +50% |
Force Slash You can obtain this skill in the side mission "Ninja'd Scrolls - part 2" This is an active skill. Description: This is a lethal ranged attack that deals damage to all the targets in your path. Tier 1: Already unlocked. Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Force slash width +15% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Force slash width +30% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Force slash speed +50% Tier 5: Requires 2 skill points Force slash range +30% Usefulness and how to use: It is a good idea to use this skill before you star the fight. It deals high damage to multiple opponents. |
Like the Wind You will receive this skill after you have completed the main mission "Seepage Problem!" This is a passive skill. Description: Increases movement speed. Tier 1: Requires 1 skill point Movement speed +10% Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Movement speed +15% Tier 3: Requires 2 skill points Movement speed +20% Tier 4: Requires 3 skill points Movement speed +25% |
Shadow Fury You will receive this skill during the fight with the main boss in the mission "Big Trouble in Calamity". This is an active skill. Description: Turns the warrior into an unstoppable, murderous machine. Skill's base statistics: Duration 12.0s Damage +50% Resistance to damage +25% Health absorption +2.0% Chi absorption +2.0% Tier 1: Unlocked Tier 2: Requires 1 skill point Resistance to damage +50% Tier 3: Requires 1 skill point Damage +50% Tier 4: Requires 2 skill points Force Slash unleashed during a melee attack +100% Tier 5: Requires 10 skill points Shadow Fury duration +67% Usefulness and how to use: You can use Shadow Fury by pressing the Z button. You will have the opportunity to use it by filling up the usage bar. This skill will allow you to survive the most dangerous encounters, and it is recommended to save it for the most dire of circumstances, which would normally result in your death. |
Auto-Reload You will receive this skill for killing Gun Fury during the "Demonic Trafficking" mission. This is a passive skill. Description: Enables an automatic reload of inactive weaponry.
