Fill the vessel | Shaggy Planet Samorost 3 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
After sticking all of the vessel parts together, you can go to the next section on the right side. If you want to acquire all of the sound collectibles (as well as Steam achievements), use the strainer, handing on the rope (shown on the above screenshot) to cover the steam coming out of the stalk.
Click on the strainer with the LMB and hold it. Perform a vigorous move to the down of the screen and let the button go. The strainer will be placed on top of the stalk, blocking the exit. After doing it, move the cursor to the right side of the screen and enter the next area.
In this section, interact in the place marked on the above screenshot with the trumpet. You will see a scene, during which you will learn what you must do for the turtle to move away.
The hint you will see during the interaction with the turtle corresponds to the bubbles visible on its shell. Click on the bubbles that are filled inside with your LMB, and the turtle will move away.
After pressing on the required bubbles, the turtle will move away, opening a passageway to the next area (shown on the above screenshot). After hovering your cursor over the hole in the plant, it will change into an arrow - press the LMB and the protagonist will jump into the hole, transferring to the bottom section of the planet. Interacting with the turtle will allow you to unlock the next sound collectible, but it will be easier to get after you've completed the main story mission on the Shaggy Planet.
Using the passageway unlocked after the turtle moved away, you will be transferred to the location shown on the above screenshot. Your goal is to get to the other side of the hill with the help of lianas shown on the above screenshot. Each liana has a range in which you can interact with them, but for it to happen, all of them must be aligned with each other. Note that there are bats hanging on the lianas - you will be manipulating them, so that the protagonist can move further. To move the character to the next liana, click and hold the LMB on the bat. Move your mouse to the end of the liana and release the button. Below you can find the correct way to cross the hill with.
First things first, hand the two bats on the lianas shown on the above screenshot. Remember, that getting onto the liana and moving along it is done with the LMB.
The second arrangement can be seen on the above screenshot. Both the bats, as well as the character will weight down the liana, causing it to go down.
The arrangement shown on the screen allows you to get onto the liana in the middle.
By weighting the liana enough with the bat, you will be able to get to the other one. You will soon be on the other side of the hill.
Swap the bats, so that they are hanging exactly like the ones shown on the above screenshot.
Change the arrangement, so that the character can climb up the next liana.
Arranging the bats on the first and the last liana will allow you to get to the small ledge on the other side of the hill.
Head towards the left side of the screen and enter the last area of the island.
Pay attention to the areas marked with red circles. There's the large tank, but there's no water inside of it. The pump and the periscope is connected with the tank. Larger circles were used to mark the parts of the pipes, that you can manipulate.
If you interact with the periscope, you will notice, that the lens of the aperture is directed at the vessel you've glued in the last chapter. As you've probably guessed, the pump is used to fill the tank with water, and the periscope to check the water level in the vessel.
The object required to complete this objective will be the one marked on the above screenshot. Your goal is to change the water circulation on the island in such a way, that you will be able to fill the large water tank, and then the glued vessel. Note, that you can freely manipulate and even take the connector shown on the above screenshot. Pick it up and go to the second installation.
The next goal is to disconnect the pipes marked with the red circle. Interact with them. Press and hold the LMB and drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen, so that the pipes are disconnected.
After disconnecting the pipes on the right side of the screen, get back to the ones on the left side. Note the location of the connector on the above screenshot. It must be directed towards the upper vent, so that the large water tank is filled with water.
In order to fill the large water tank, move the connector to the pipes above the pump. Connect the elements in the same manner as shown on the above screenshot. It will allow you to pump the water from the large water tank to the glued vessel. To pump the water, approach the level shown on the above screenshot. Click and hold the LMB on the lever and move the mouse up and down, to operate the pump. You can check the effects of your work by looking at the vessel through the periscope.
If you placed the strainer over the vessel, flowers will start growing next to it. To complete the objective, you must go back up and take the strainer from the plant, so that the water can flow freely to the vessel. You can take out the strainer by pressing and holding the LMB, and then dragging the mouse to the bottom of the screen.
Remember to rearrange the connector in the same way as shown on the above screenshot, otherwise the monkey sitting on the right side of the screen won't let you leave the area.
After filling the vessel with water, it will be lowered a little bit, pushing the plant that the water flew through upwards. As a result, an entrance to the plant will appear. You can ignore it for the time being. Approach the vessel and wait for a gold fish to jump out of it. Press the LMB on the animal - it will allow you to acquire a collectible (together with the Gold Fish Steam Achievement). Go back to the location with the turtle and head down to the area with bats.
Because of the fact, that the vessel is filled with water, you can get another collectible. In order to do so, you must free all the six bats shown on the above screenshot. Press and hold the LMB on the animal and drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen, while releasing the button. After you've liberated all six bats, you will get the next collectible (Liana Bats Steam achievement).
This time you must press the bubbles on the turtle shell again. This will cause the turtle to move forward again, covering the passageway.
The bubble pattern is the same, as the one you've used to force the turtle to move away.
The turtle will move towards the protagonist and will spit a goldbug. You will acquire the next collectible (Goldbug Steam Achievement).
