In order to get more fragments, go to the unlocked passage.

By walking on the underground corridor you'll get to the room with two locked grates.

At the beginning go up the stairs and shoot the golden lock to lower the bridge.

On the other side you'll find a crate with the key. Thanks to it you can open one of the locked grates below.

In the next room you'll see undead opening the trapdoor places in the center.

Quickly kill the beast and then push the lever he was pulling, twice to the right.

You have to stand now next to the trapdoor and shoot down the body hanging over the mechanism. Aim at the golden lock.

Once the hole is open, jump down. You'll find there a crate with the second fragment of the artifact.
