This is Paul's last decision. Lock the door to the laboratory and go to your office. You will find a secret next to your computer on the desk. Talk with your subjects and make a choice:

• Control - Remain control over your character and try one last time to see your plan through (unlocks Rational Thought).
• Surrender - Lose faith in your plan and Monarch (Paranoia).

The key element that will change after this decision is your character's personality. If you lose control, you will become cruel which can be easily noticed in cut scenes. Control option does not influence its behavior. Additionally, it affects the murder scene of dr. Amaral (if you didn't trust her). The biggest element is Liam Burke's situation: if you've chosen the Surrender option, he will be killed and you won't face him during Countermeasure. Additionally, Charlie will be your navigator in Monarch. In the second scenario you will face Liam (causing him to die either way) while Fiona will be helping you.
