Route 2

Time for new challenges!

As you leave the city, you will be accosted by Lillie. After a short conversation, approach Tauros and talk to him. Then, leave the city. On Route 2, there are more opponents and more pokemons to capture. First, go to the thickets on your left, where you will be attacked by the first, randomly generated, pokemon. On Route 2, you can find such pokemons as:

1. Makuhita
2. Abra
3. Alolan Meowth
4. Smeargle
5. Drowzee
6. Yungoos

Your first opponent is:

1. Krystal, who has a single pokemon - Gastly, level 9

Go up. If you turn left, you will get to the locked location of Hau'oli Cemetery. This location has been described towards the end of this chapter. Go straight ahead, instead. IF you go right, as far as you can, you will find a Heal Ball. Then, go left, as far as possible. Behind the car, there is a Super potion. In the house, next to the item, you will receive 2 Nest Balls from a man. Go towards the next mission. Before you get there, though, you will be attacked by another opponent!

1. Kaleb has Spearow, level 8

After the battle, you encounter a wild pokemon - Delibird. It will turn out that it is one of many that grow berries. As soon as you enter the farm, you will be attacked by Skulls once again.

1. Grunt has a single pokemon - Drowzee, level 10

For winning the battle, you receive an Oran Berry. Next to the tree, there are 3 Persim Berries. In the farm house, talk to all the creatures to receive Revive. Go behind the house to find Silver Powder. Then, talk to the elderly man one again and you will receive a Sitrus Berry. Unfortunately, as of now, you cannot sow berries, which is why you have to return to Route 2. You will meet Ashley, who will fight with you.

1. She has Cottonee, level 10

In the bushes opposite, you can find another wild pokemon. For defeating it, you will receive an Oran Berry. Here, you can capture such pokemons as:

1. Makuhita
2. Cutiefly
3. Yungoos
4. Smeargle
5. Spearow
6. Growlithe

There are two paths here. First, take the upper one to fight a small girl and Jay. After you defeat him, go to the small elevation. There, you will find Revive. Then, take the other path to fight with Isabella.

1. Jay has Butterfle, level 10
2. Malia has a single pokemon - Cutiefly, level 9
3. Isabella has a single pokemon - Misdreavusa, level 9

After the battle, collect the Super potion. As you go up, you will meet Hau, who will take you to another Poke Center. During the conversation, he will give you 3 Revive. Inside, talk to the woman wearing a hat and glasses, to the left of the medic. If you have captured Cutiefly, she will pay you 3 thousand. Another interesting NPC here is the woman on the right. If you have Spearow, you can trade it for Machop. Leave the Poke Center. Before you take on the trial of the island (your next objective), take a look around for some berries to the left of Poke Center. Before you can pick them, you will be attacked by a new pokemon - Crabrawler. After you win, you will receive a Sitrus Berry, a Lappa Berry and 2 Oran Berries.

Ilima Trial

Explore the mysterious cave

Now, complete the trial from Ilima. Approach him and agree to start. The basic piece of information to know is that during the trial, you cannot capture any pokemons. To complete the trial, you have to defeat three pokemons in their lairs, or outside of them. Then, you will only have to collect the Z-Crystal from the pedestal. The first pokemon is in the cave, near your starting point.

1. This one is Alolan Rattata, level 11

Then, go to the next cave. Along your path, you will find a Super potion. By the rock, there is an indiscernible Revive. This is where you will be attacked by another Rattata. The next item to collect is on the elevation - TM31 Brick Break. Walk over the wooden plank and crawl across the small hole, which is where you find a Super potion. Climb down and approach the cave. Unfortunately, the last creature is not there. Climb up higher and it will turn out that the creature starts escaping. Follow the tracks. By the last cave, you will find an X Defense. Unfortunately, the creature escapes from there also, which is why you should walk over the wooden plank. Past the plank, you will have to fight against a Skull.

1. The opponent has Drowzee, level 11

After the battle, go to the cave below. There, you will have to fight.

1. You will fight Alolan Raticate, level 11

After you have killed all of the 3 pokemons, you can leave the cave along the upper exit. Talk to the man in blue hat and go to the next part of the cave. There, pick the Z-Crystal from the pedestal. Of course, you will have to fight the pedestal guardian:

1. Totem Raticate, level 12. It is an enhanced version of Raticate with more health. It is vulnerable to fightning element, which is in the possession of e.g. Machop, whom you could receive after barter. During the fight, the boss can summon allies. Eliminate these in the first place to prevent being under constant attack.

After you win, you will receive a Z-Crystal - Normalium Z. After a short conversation, you will also receive 10 Great Balls and the ability to capture pokemons in the cave that you have been completing the trial. IN there, you can find:

1. Alolan Rattata
2. Alolan Diglett
3. Zubat

Hau'oli Cemetery

At the cemetery, you will find interesting pokemons!

As you enter the cemetery, first capture a pokemon that you will need to complete a quest - Drifloon. You will find it in the bushes, just like the rest of the pokemons:

1. Misdreavus
2. Gastly
3. Zubat
4. Drifloon

During your search, you will also encounter opponents such as:

1. Ikue, who has a single pokemon - Pikachu, level 9
2. Stanley, who chooses Makuhite, level 9
3. Jeremy, who chooses Alolan Digletta, level 9

Items that you can find at the cemetery are: Paralyze Heal, Big Mushroom, Super potion and TM100 Confide. At the end of the location, by the right edge, there is a spot where you can take photos. As soon as you have captured Drifloon, return to Poke Center in Hau'oli to show it to the woman. For capturing the pokemon, you will receive 10thousand and, as it will turn out, it will stay with you.
