Stalker 2 was released yesterday and the premiere divided fans of this universe. Some believe that the game is quite good (our review), others believe that it is to buggy to have fun in it (tech review) and we can’t deny that both groups have strong arguments. For example, people who have ultrawide monitors report problems with the game being too zoomed in. Let’s take a look at it.

Ultrawide Support in Stalker 2 Will Be Better Soon

If you happen to have problems with Stalker 2 and ultrawide monitors (the game seems to be zoomed in), remember that there is an FOV option in your game, which will, at least to some extent, alleviate your problem. Of course, it is not the perfect solution. So, what should you do? Wait a little bit.

Developers are aware of the issue. Moreover, their representative on the official Discord channel stated that they are working on “unfun things with an image”. So, hopefully, we will see a fix during the next few days. However, let’s keep in mind that there are many issues which need to be addressed like performance, A-Life, input lag or controllers not working.

Meanwhile, you can check out our Stalker 2 Guide. Of course, it is full of interesting tips and tricks, walkthrough included. You will also learn a lot about dangerous enemies like Bloodsuckers. Moreover, we have prepared an interactive map with many useful markers. The guide (and the map) is not completed yet, but it already has a lot of content.
