The newest addition to the Microsoft Flight Simulator family has a rough start. MSFS 2024 is here and it seems that server issues caused many problems. Numerous people had difficulties with loading the game and others could not even launch it. Even if you managed to start the sim, you could have missing planes. However, one of the most troublesome “features” was waiting in long login queues.

At this point the issue with servers seems to be more or less under control. A few hours ago developers on X informed that they are working hard to solve the problem. Moreover, in the official YouTube video, they have acknowledged that servers are causing other, mentioned above, malfunctions.

Right now, the game can be accessed more or less freely. However, some time ago, players experienced long queues. At this point we can’t say with certainty that login screens will not appear again when more people hit servers. Developers did not announce that the issue is solved once and for all. Let’s hope that it is the case, and not a temporary break caused by low traffic. One is certain – many people are working hard to fix the game right now.

If you happen to encounter the queue, while you are waiting, you can read our article on MSFS 2024, as we had the opportunity to see the game in August. You can find our thoughts in this hands-on.
