If you want to know the answer to this puzzling question, then read our guide!

Orcs Must Die Deathtrap – crossplay explained

Certainly, good news for fans of the game is the fact that crossplay works on all supported platforms, i.e. Xbox Game Pass, Steam and Epic. Are you surprised by the lack of PS5? Well, the game has not yet been released for that console, although it is very likely that once the title is launched, crossplay will also be possible.

It is worth noting, however, that problems with crossplay may arise, especially with different versions of the game. If they do not match between platforms, then a situation may occur in which the connection is lost, or you may simply not be able to join your friend's server.

We should also mention that crossplay in Orcs Must Die Deathrap works on a P2P basis. In short, this means that games are hosted locally, on users’ end, players can search for each other using the lobby browser. The game doesn't have its official servers. If you experience problems finding a friend's world, you can try setting its visibility to “Public” with a password. Then all you need to do is look for it in the region of the host, with the filter set to password.
