Strinova was finally released. Many players were waiting for this game. It is a free to play shooter, which is heavily inspired by anime art style. There is a twist, though. You can transform from 3D into a 2D character to use it to your advantage – for example to pass through narrow spaces. This interesting concept attracted thousands of players. Some of them are looking for codes to redeem, others would like to use controllers in their matches. Is it possible? Let’s find out.

Controller Support in Strinova Explained

If you would like to use a controller in Strinova, we have good and bad news for you. At this point, you can’t fight with your gamepad. The game does not support it… yet. Developers plan to add this functionality. So, the new question arises – when?

When it is ready. In the post published on Steam, one of iDreamSky representants answered that after tests, it was decided that controller support is not ready and needs some more work. While it is a shame for players, it is definitely a good decision in the long term. Rather than releasing the incomplete feature, polishing it is a good choice.

At this point there is nothing more to do than use keyboards and mice. Hopefully, it will change soon. Let’s observe Steam and official social channels like Discord or X account. Remember that the game is free, so you can test it easily and check if the controller is needed in your case. Good luck.
