Absolver is an online melee combat RPG from Devolver
Meet Absolver, an online melee combat RPG to be published by Devolver Digital (Hotline Miami, Serious Sam) in 2017. The game will feature fluid real-time combat with customizable style of fighting.
Devolver Digital (the publisher of Hotline Miami and Serious Sam series) has announced a new game in its catalogue. Absolver is an online melee combat RPG, in development by an indie studio Sloclap and slated for release in 2017 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You will wander the game’s open world as a masked Prospect on your quest to become an Absolver, a member of an elite group of warriors. To this end you will encounter and combat other players online, thus learning your place in the world – some may become your friends, others enemies, mentors or disciples.
Absolver is to feature fluid real-time combat with customizable style of fighting and gear. Everyone will have their Combat Deck used to compose their unique attack sequences. As you win more and more clashes, you progress towards becoming an Absolver, learn new combat techniques and get better weapons and armor. You will also be able to team up with two other players and challenge PvE dungeons together or fight three-on-three PvP battles on dedicated arenas.
Devolver Digital is going to showcase hands-on demos of Absolver at this year’s E3. See the game’s official website for more info.
