Once Human players will no longer lose progress each season. Devs of the game are about to make groundbreaking changes
The development of Once Human is accelerating. Soon the game will receive permanent servers, and at the end of February testing of the cross-save feature on mobile devices will launch. The developers have also taken care of more patches.

Once Human, a free survival game from Starry Studio, isn't slowing down. After announcing the game development plans for 2025, the developer got to work, and, as promised, several very important changes will soon be introduced to the game.
The first one concerns servers. Already in March, all of them (except for the private ones) will be changed to permanent. This will prevent, among other things, the deletion of data at the end of each season. The conversion itself is scheduled to take place on March 13 and will last for two hours.
To keep your account in an intact state, you will need to log in at least once every 30 days. This requirement helps limit the load on servers caused by inactive accounts. The discussed change will also affect the Visional Wheel system, influencing the rules of survival, combat, etc., which will receive more options. In the second quarter of 2025, this issue will be expanded and refined.
This, however, isn't everything. Once Human is preparing for a cross-save test. It will take place from February 27th (starting at 8:00 p.m.) until March 31st (ending at 3:00 a.m.) and is reserved for iOS and Android systems. To gain access to it, an invitation will be necessary, which can be obtained after filling out the application form.
During the tests, all scenarios will be available. Within this framework, players from Loading Bay (a large platform of NetEase), Steam, and the Epic Games Store will enter battle with their existing characters. However, the developers note that the impressions from this version may differ significantly from the final result.
Besides, the devs also didn't forget about the necessary fixes and bugs. They fixed, among other things, problems with vehicles, animations, interface, and gameplay errors. This should positively affect the stability and quality of the game. The upcoming months will bring more changes for Once Human - so let's keep our fingers crossed that everything goes according to plan.
