1. Before you start fighting, first check the attributes of your weapons, its reach and attack speed
2. Try luring out enemies one after another. Each of them has limited sight range, so avoid running mindlessly into a group of enemies. This could get you killed quickly.
3. You are safe only in the finishing zone and when you start the next level. If you must heal, craft something or move away from the computer for a while, it is best to find some higher ground and jump on it. Most of the enemies won't reach you there.
4. Remember that opening the equipment won't pause the game. When you're distracted you can die easily.
5. Frequently look around. In some locations the enemies will respawn infinitely and they can appear behind your back with no warning.
6. The best way to fight is to keep moving back and waiting for the opponent to get close to you. Remember to always retreat to a place where you were previously so that you won't encounter another group of enemies.
7. Control the health bar. During the battle the loss of health will be additionally signaled. If you don't be paying attention to that you can die.
8. Use the fountain whenever you have enough gems. Search all vases and places where gems can be hidden. Collected gems, even the ones you won't spend, will prove to be useful if you die before reaching the lowest level.
9. Remember about dodging. Check how far your character is jumping so that you won't accidentally find yourself in bigger trouble after jumping than the one you are escaping from.
10. Special attacks permanently reduce your stamina. Remember about using the powerful attacks wisely, overusing them can make it impossible for you to continue the fight. In order to regenerate the full bar you have to eat, preferably rotten foot.
11. Animations related to using special items, eating and crafting are long and they cannot be shortened. Remember to find a safe place before you do any of them. In case of danger try saving some energy, running and taking the advantage of distance to regenerate your health.
12. Try exploring every corner in search for enemies and materials needed for completing quests. Points given for that are very useful.
13. If you see a wall with a sign on it, it is best to walk towards it. In some cases it will be a passage to a secret chamber which you should check. If nothing happens, it might be a trap, so don't forget to look around frequently.
14. You must manage your equipment wisely. In case of components needed for crafting there are no limitations, but you can drag only 10 pieces of final equipment.
