Quick earning of coins is needed mostly for buying all vehicles and characters if you intend to complete the game in 100%. First focus on gathering coins in the missions, during them you can frequently get few dozens of thousands of coins. Once you get few hundred thousands of coins, use the red brick that multiplies the number of gathered coins (in this case buy the red brick with x2 multiplier). After activating the red brick you can start gathering the coins at Manhattan. It would be a great idea to first do it on the Helicarrier. On the above picture you can see a room in which there are more than a dozen of blue and violet coins. Outside the Helicarrier you will find other blue coins. Go to Stark Tower after collecting them, on its top you will find dozens of blue coins.

A good way to collect the coins on Manhattan is by completing dynamic missions. If you will notice a civilian that needs help or a stolen vehicle, intervene and you will receive nice reward. You can do it during breaks between collecting coins on Helicarrier and on Stark tower. Once you gather one million of coins go to the trophy room and activate the red brick with x8 multiplier. With such multiplier, you will receive not a thousand, but a million of coins during one gathering session. At this point you won't need to worry about gathering money and you will be able to focus on completing missions and gathering bricks.
