Shipwreck and the area with mannequins | Layers of Fear 2 walkthrough

On this page of our guide to Layers of Fear 2 we describe the exploration of shipwreck and passing through the area with mannequins. These are the places visited in the final part of act 5. You don't have to solve puzzles, but you will be forced to avoid the monster.

During the linear march you will board the crashed ship. Carefully search the deck, as in one of the dark areas near the lamp a tape no. 6 for the phonograph is hidden (image above).

Approach the cannon and pull the lever to shoot it. You may leave the ship. Look to the treasure chest on your way.

You will reach a place with a very large number of mannequins. One of the mannequins will soon turn into a monster. Then, you need to turn around and start the escape as soon as possible.

There are narrow passages between the mannequins through which you can continue your escape from the monster. In the meantime, look for an opportunity to use the path to another area (image above).

Along the way once again the dummy will turn into a monster, but this time you don't have to complete a full 'escape scheme'. Retreat a bit and wait for the disappearance of the monster.

In the final phase of the campaign the monster will appear again, this time behind the hero. Move to the ladder. You'll be stopped right before you use it. Don't worry because it's a top-down directed scene.
