On this page to Layers of Fear 2 guide, we have described the exploration of the gardens in act 3. This is the final location of act 3 in the game. This stage requires you to avoid attacks of great monster who watches everything from above. The hero needs to hide in safe places and run up to various types of cover.
The initial part of the passage through the gardens is very linear. You won't find interactive items for some time, but you can listen to short dialogs along the way. When you open the gate explore the right rock and you will find an artificial eye.
Starting from the next section, you must avoid the one-eyed monster and, in particular, all spots of his attacks (where the flames will appear). Interaction with the flame will lead to the instant death of your hero.
Monster attacks can be avoided by hiding in a small side niches - an example is shown in the images above. After you stop in a secure place always wait until all the flames will miss your hero (and make sure they will not return!). Only then get out of hiding. Use 'running' to reach shelters and secure places.
In the second part of the maze you will encounter flames that "travel" on a given route. Wait until they bypass your hero and go after them to safely move through this location.
Flames may also start to "chase" the hero. In this case, run without stopping until you reach a new cavity or the next place where the escape scene ends.
You must avoid the flames until you reach the spot shown in the image. Look at the flowers lying on the wall and get to the ladder.
Get to the room with someone sitting in a wheelchair. Ignore this strange figure and look around the room. Open the drawer shown in the image and take out the tape No. 4 from phonograph.
Go further. This is the last time you need to get to the metal balconies above the projection room. On the right from the entrance to the ventilation shaft you will find The Tempest film poster (as shown in the image).
Enter the ventilation shaft (this time you will not find a new key) and go to the end, where a movie tape is hidden.
After taking the tape you will be automatically taken to the hero's cabin. Traditionally, you can view the obtained collectibles and look around the cabin. It is worth to check the scope (new object on the sea - pirate flag), check the double-sided board and get a new telegram. Get to the hall with the projector. Check the note attached to the mirror. Then place the newly obtained film in the projector and watch the movie. In order to get to Act 4 go through the door in the same room.
