On this page of our guide to Layers of Fear 2, we have described how to find the second film tape. It should be done at the end of Act 2. On the way to the place where the above mentioned tape is hidden hero must avoid strong flames, as well as solve a new (but simple) puzzle.

Regardless of the decision made, start exploring new parts of the ship. After passing through the corridor, you will find a chest with a drawing. You can approach a new child, but the interaction options are not available. In the left room you will experience image distortion and find a note from the chief of security. Check the bathroom shown in the image where you can collect new movie poster - The Night Fiend.

Go further. Along the way you will find more and more coins, but you cannot pick them up. Explore a new and empty can. Get to the mountain of coins and start to climb it with the intention to touch the white item resembling the appearance of a cup.

The coins will soon turn into caught fish. Go in the opposite direction. When you get to the room with a lot of indicators check the table to find a officer's note. Also use the lever to adjust the speed of the ship, which may light up the surroundings a little. Get to the ladder and go down. At the end of the corridor inspect the broken container.

Starting with the next location you have to watch out for strong flames at all costs. It can very quickly kill you.

Run left when it is safe and hide in the side niche. Then run to small obstacles where you have to crouch to pass them by. An example of this type of item (chest) is shown in the attached image.

Go to the next location. Wait for the right moment to slip through the door.

Don't move when you open the door, because the flame will appear right in front of you. It's a little bigger location and your task is to get to its opposite end. Take the path that is marked in the image. Approach the next tables and other small obstacles. Crouch next to them until the flame stops. Don't try to run most of the room at once because you can't hide.

During the crossing through the building, take interest in the side room from the picture. Wait until the flames stops and quickly run to the new Megapolis movie poster. Get to a small staircase leading to the second floor. Again, watch out for the flames.

Make your way to the second floor in the room with a dummy. Check the two-sided board to read both messages. Enter into interaction with the rotating mechanism and colorful doors should appear.

Move to the new area and continue the journey, during which you still have to hide from powerful flame. Another board is in the place where the flames appears, and if you want to rotate it, you need to wait for the right moment and quickly perform the interaction.

Get to the lever shown in the image and pull it. Quickly crouch and move along with sliding curtain to avoid the flames. Go towards the stairs, and continue to avoid the flames. Don't worry about some broken barricades. There is no need to rush and you can safely wait for the right moments to reach the secure spots.

You have to get to the brown doors where there is a riddle with cable and a bathtub. Start by unfolding the curtain on the left side so that you reveal the bathtub with the dummy. Now locate the contact and remove the power cable from it.

Take the cable to the bathtub's vicinity. Drop it when it's hanging over the tub, so the dummy will be "electrocuted." You can already go through a well-lit "colorful" door.

Once again - do not rush to the entrance to the new location, because the flame is raging in the new corridor. Wait for the right moment to start moving towards the stairs.

Get to the door with a head and open them. In the room with a mannequin you will find a new interactive TV. Be careful though, cause a monster is going to come out of the TV. Quickly start running on the neighboring balconies. You need to get to the metal doors. This chase can have two different endings. The first option involves getting into the metal door, without deviating from the main escape route. After opening them, you will find yourself in a safe place, and the world becomes colored again.

The second option involves jumping, as shown in the figure, into the hole to the right of the metal door. You'll get to the secret room with the detonator. Pushing the detonator will lead to the destruction of the buildings visible in the distance, and will unlock the achievement, Let's Not Talk About It.

Both of these options will allow you to get to the same safe place. Go to the big chest shown in the image and remove the movie tape from it. Exit the stairs and return to the hero's cabin. Once again, you can take up new additional actions here. In addition to viewing the new secrets, it is worth checking the scope (new object at sea - small cage), read double-sided board and read a new telegram.

To move on to the third act of the game, go to the projector room and insert the recently found movie tape to the projector in order to watch another movie.
