Bavarium On a Plane | Walkthrough Just Cause 3 Guide

Get your allies to the airport.

The key objective of this mission is similar to the "Derailed Extraction" - you must prevent the cargo of the bavarium from leaving the island. This time however the enemy will try to transport it on board of a plane. After regaining control over your character, get inside the car with Dima and Sheldon and drive through the marked route to get to the airport.

You must now get on board of the plane.

When you arrive at the airport, ignore the blockade, ram through it and enter the airport. A plane will appear right in front of you - you must drive your vehicle on board of it. Ignore the nearby enemies and avoid crashing into them and after a few seconds you will be able to enter the plane, which will initiate a cutscene.

Use one of the enemy jets to take out the rest of your foes.

After regaining control over Rico, take out the two enemies on the other side of the plane and then head towards their position - leave the plane via the hatch on the right side. Here you will have to defend the plane from enemy fighter jets. You won't be able to crash the enemy into the ground (as you can't attach the rope into anything) and shooting them with your rocket launcher may harm the plane, and you will probably run out of ammo sooner or later. Instead, hijack one of the jets with your grappling hook.

Thanks to the homing rockets, taking out numerous enemy jets will be a breeze.

Decrease your speed a little bit to get around 150-200 meters behind the plane you must protect and then start eliminating the enemy jets. Use the homing rockets to get rid of them quickly and easily - in most cases a single rocket is more than enough to take out the plane. Remember to refrain from shooting when the enemy is close to the cargo plane - it's easy to damage the wrong target if you're not careful.

It's time to get back into the ship.

After shooting quite a large number of jets (the quicker you are able to shoot them down, the more you will have to destroy), you will be given the objective to get back into the plane. Approach the cargo plane from the side and when you are about 100 meters away from it, pull yourself to it with your grappling hook. Get inside of it through the hatch, which will initiate a short cutscene.

Drive the car outside of the cargo bay to end the mission.

After regaining control over Rico, get inside the armored vehicle indicated by the marker and drive it outside of the plane. You now have to leave the car, initiating a cutscene, which will end the mission.
