Crime Scene | Heavy Rain Walkthrough Heavy Rain HD Guide
Last update: 21 June 2019
This page of Heavy Rain's Game Guide contains a walkthrough of the Crime Scene chapter. It unlocks another playable character, which is an FBI agent Norman Jayden. The stage focuses on exploring the title crime scene and it's worth finding all the tracks to explore.
You are introduced to yet another main character - Norman Jayden, an FBI profiler. Get out of the car and walk to the policemen. You can also listen to what the TV crew next to the fence is saying - you will learn why you are here. Tell policemen who you are and head to the crime scene.
It's the first time you can have fun with ARI. It's kind of a sci-fi gadget that can find DNA (and other) traces in the field. Sweep the surroundings by pressing R1 (PS3/PS4 version). Look around and find as many traces as you can. The most important trace is Orchid pollen in the air, next to the tent. Inside the tent you will find the victim. Search the body by looking on different parts of it. Now talk to Blake. He's behind the tent. Walk next to him during the conversation.
Well, Blake wasn't much of a help. Go back to the Orchid pollen and go towards the railway from there. Sweep terrain here using ARI - You should find blood traces leading to the end of the fence. Take a look there closely - the trail is leading you up the scarp. Climb up (pretty annoying QTE) and use the ARI up to the highway. The wheel marks are most important.
Norman should inform you now that he is done here and that he can go back to the station now. Do as he says - go back to your car and head off. If he didn't say that, you missed some important trail (body, Orchid, tire traces). Finding all clues related to the crime is rewarded with the FBI Investigator trophy. In addition, it is one of the four requirements to unlock another achievement: Nerd.
Note - If you omit any tracks and leave the crime scene prematurely, some further steps of the investigation may not be available in the next stages of the investigation.
