In GreedFall, you can seduce, deceive and bond with your companions. This is a special mechanic that develops the game, but also requires a lot of effort from you. If you want to conquer the heart of your chosen one, you have to try hard to win his/her favor. On the following page you will find out what you need to do in order to win the heart of your loved one, how many people you can seduce, whether your relations last permanently and how to start a short term romances.

How to romance?
To start an affair with your chosen companion, you must first of all complete all companion side quests commissioned by him/her and then develop a relationship. Developing friendships (gaining reputation) involves talking to your companion and responding in an appropriate way.
If the chosen one offers you a date, you must go to the residence and get straight to bed. After all, the character will confess his/her love to you - will be up to you what happens next.

Can I ruin the romance?
Yes. The character may be offended if you respond to her/his courtship against her/his expectations or refuse to go on a date. If you don't accept the offer, you can't count on another chance to meet on a date with a specific character.
Who can I have an affair with?
You can have an affair with four companions - Kurt, Vasco, Siora and Aphra.
Should I enter into a relationship?
After a night together, the character will tell you how much he or she loves you. If you share his or her love, you will have a relationship with a chosen companion. This will disable any romance with other companions.
If you refuse to start a relationship, you will open your way to other romances, but remember that you may lose some reputation of romanced companion.
Can I have an affair with many companions at once?
Of course you can. All you have to do is break the heart of your beloved by saying that it was just for fun. That way you can have an affair with other companions.
Are the characters sexually defined?
As for your companions in GreedFall, Siora and Vasco are bisexual characters, so they will have an affair with both a woman and a man. As far as Kurt is concerned, he is only interested in women and Aphra is only interested in men.
