This section of the Guide to Greedfall, you will find a walkthrough of the Logging Expedition side quest.

How to trigger the quest? A conversation with the native called Vedrad. The Red Forest. After performing a side mission for Aphra.

Go to Cwenvar. Tall Trees and proceed to Call Sen. Talk to the guards who won't let the natives in. Talk to the woman in front of the house and ask about the death of the lumberjacks. Then go to the bodies in the building and search them.

Now run to the marker and kill the beasts. The hunters will ask you why you did it - answer that you merely defended yourself. Then intimidate the hunters, use charisma, or discuss the entire incident with them.

Now go to Sir de Courcillon in New Serene and ask his advice on the matter. Then go to the lowest level of the residence, get to the archive, and find the documents. Take the contracts to Madame de Morange, then go to Vedrad and talk to Dunncas. You will hence finish the quest, get +2 reputation with the Natives, and 1600 XP. You will also start missions a side quest the Price of Blood.
